Smiths Falls Police responded to a suspicious vehicle call in Gilroy Street last week and wound up charging a Smiths Falls man with weapons and drug related offences.
The 39-year-old male driver, Johathon Riley, had an outstanding warrant.
He was placed under arrest and a search found he was in possession of a controlled Schedule I substance and a prohibited weapon.
Riley was held for a bail hearing to answer to the charges which have not been proven in court.
