VIA says some of its trains will be back on track between Ottawa and Toronto, meaning the Smiths Falls Train Station should show signs of life after all trains were cancelled yesterday.
The rail company says a CN derailment in Kingston kept train service stopped since Christmas Eve.
The storm also weighed in on the decision to cancel service yesterday, as it left some stretches of track unsafe.
Via has posted the modified schedule on its website. Cancelled trains are being doubled up, so if you’re heading out on the rails today, expect a more populated coach.
