Ontario Provincial Police say a 22-year-old driver from Kingston is facing charges after officers stopped a vehicle going more than double the speed limit on Highway 401.
The OPP say they pulled the driver going 216km/hr on Friday night in the 100km/hr posted limit.
Yesterday, around 11pm, #FrontenacOPP stopped a driver on #Hwy401, Kingston for going 116km/hr over the speed limit. As a result of the excessive speed, the unnamed driver has been charged with stunt driving, resulting in an automatic 30-day license suspension and two week vehicle impound. The accused will also have a future court date.
