The Smiths Falls Police Service is currently looking for 25-year-old Jeffrey Hamilton from the Perth area.
Hamilton was recently released from custody from convictions relating to break and enter and theft offences.
Police identified him Tuesday afternoon on a homeowner’s surveillance video after Hamilton attempted to break into a residence on Oak St.
He is a white male, tall and thin with short red hair and scabs on his face. He was wearing a black coloured coat, blue jeans and black running shoes. Photos are up on our website now.
Hamilton is well known to police for break and enters and trespassing at night rifling through vehicles.
