The Smiths Falls Police Service is recognizing the work done by Constable Dave Rakobowchuk, who has retired from the force to take a management position with CHEO security.
The Constable has been with the force since 2022 and has filled many roles over the years, including as an Ident Officers processing crime scenes.
He’s also known on the force for his St. Johns Ambulance- training officers in Emergency First Aid and CPR. His peers often called him Dr. Rak.
Constable Rakobowchuk was also the Smiths Falls Police Association President for the past six years.
The Service is thanking Dave for all his work over the years.
