Drummond North Elmsley is the first Lanark County community to finalize its 2023 budget and it comes with a 2.84% tax rate increase.
This will cost taxpayers roughly $34 more next year for a property assessed at $300K.
It includes a 2% increase in council pay bringing the Reeve’s earnings up to $31,400, the Deputy-Reeve’s to $22,231 and councillor pay to $19,030.
