The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit reported another fatality related to the virus this week, bringing the total to 147 in their jurisdiction since the pandemic began.
That said, Medical Officer of Health Dr. Linna Li says local COVID-19 numbers remained relatively flat when the data is looked at closely.
There are six outbreaks, five in congregate care and one listed in the “other” category.
Hospitalizations dropped by one and sit at five. There are none in the ICU, after three were reported last week.
The number of new high risk cases is up slightly to 92 from 88.
