Lanark Leeds & Grenville District Health Unit Medical Officer of Health Dr. Linna Li had some good news in terms of where flu season stands in our region.
She says the second round of flu has hardly impacted the area.
She says Flu B is still persistent across the world and the province, but our region has seen minimal disruption.
As for RSV and seasonal coronaviruses, Li says they’re still circulating here but at low figures, so the region is in good shape.
This comes as Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore expressed joy and appreciation for the declining figures across Ontario.
