The latest COVID-19 data shows another death recorded in Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville, bringing the local total to 148.
That said, most local numbers were trending down. There are just four in hospitals, and none in our ICUs with the virus. Last week there were five admitted, and none in intensive care.
Dr. Linna Li, our Medical Officer of health says the number of new high-risk cases dropped from 92 to 83, which she calls a stable number.
There are now just three outbreaks, all in congregate care. They account for 68 cases. Last week there six outbreaks including one in the “other” category.
