It looks like we’re through the worst of the respiratory virus season, and COVID-19 numbers are also stable, according to the Health Unit’s Medical Officer of Health Dr. Linna Li.
Li says that means the Health Unit likely won’t be talking as much about COVID-19, instead focusing on other programs they offer.
Li says, should there be another spike they would of course be at the forefront with current information for residents in her jurisdiction of Leeds, Grenville and Lanark.
This comes after the latest surveillance report from the health unit noted there were fve people hospitalized, with 69 new-high risk cases and one outbreak accounting for just four cases in our region.
