Girl Guides of Canada Administrative Community Leader Adviser Kathie Darroch says it’s a day of friendship.
Darroch says the day is celebrated in a number of ways.
Building young girls into becoming strong empowered women is the goal of the Girl Guides, and Darroch says its very fulfilling.
