The OPP report that a Smiths Falls man who was wanted for violent crimes has been found and arrested.
30 year-old Chaise Lahaise was arrested Wednesday, February 22nd by the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (or R.O.P.E.) Squad of the Ontario Provincial Police and the Smiths Falls Police Service.
Lahaise faces a number of charges including but not limited to two counts of assault, uttering threats to cause bodily harm, break and enter.
Its not known if the charges stem from a single or multiple crimes.
Lahaisse was held in custody pending a Thursday bail hearing.
