Lanark County approved their 2023 budget this week.
The budget’s grown 5.8% but the tax increase for residence comes in at 2.15%.
Estimated expenditures in 2023 come in at just under $120 million, with about $41 million in tax collection.
Included in this year’s budget is work on the Rideau Ferry Bridge project, and $2.5 million for the Blakeney Bridge work, which will begin in 2024.
The county also received federal funding for various projects.
