The town of Smiths Falls is hosting a multi-employer job fair in a few weeks.
It’s timely after the recent round of layoffs at Canopy Growth that has left hundreds looking for work, and will leave even more looking in the Spring.
It takes place at the Settler’s Ridge Centre (the mall) on Wednesday, March 22nd from 2 until 7 pm.
It’s being brought to you by the Chamber of Commerce, OnTrac, Valley Hartland CFDC, the Small Business Association, and local governments.
Organizers say there will be multiple industry employers looking to hire.
