On this International Women’s Day, we celebrate women’s achievement, and raise awareness about discrimination.
Lanark Couty has never had a woman serve as our Member of Parliament. At one point our riding included Lennox and Addington, which is now part of Hastings-Lennox and Addington. That’s where MP Shelby Kramp-Neuman is currently sitting in the commons.
Kramp-Neuman was happy to share some advice and encouragement for young women growing up in our area.
The MP says International Women’s Day means striving the best version of herself while helping to support and empower others to do the same.
