A 49 year old female is facing charges after Brockville Police were called to a residence on February 27th regarding a female in distress.
Police arrived at an address on King Street, where a family member, who was not at the scene, reported the woman was locked in the residence with a gun. The accused was located and police revealed that there was no gun nor was the female in distress.
Officers noticed she was in possession of two knives and on a release order with bail conditions.
She was arrested and charged with possession of weapons for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply with release order.
