The Gillies and Mill Street bridge in Carleton Place are now open to two-way traffic as of Monday, March 13.
The town announced the news late last week that this would be the case after more than a year of one-way traffic.
Since the Central Bridge was reopened earlier this year, the town shifted focus on some additional work on the Gillies Bridge and are able to revert back to two-way traffic.
The Gillies and Mill Street bridges were only open to northbound traffic during the Central Bridge rehabilitation to allow first responders quicker access to that part of town.
The Mill Street underpass is also reopening to traffic.
