Stolen vehicle recovered, man charged following Drummond/North Elmsley foot pursuit

Lanark County OPP have charged a local man after a traffic stop recovered a stolen vehicle.

On March 15th at about 10pm, police tried to stop a vehicle on Highway 7 in Drummond-North Elmsley Township.

The driver fled the scene on foot and was later located and arrested.

40-year-old Brian Riley of Bastard-South Burgess Township is facing six charges including theft of a motor vehicle.
