The second of several public information sessions being put on by Building Lanark County Affordable Housing, or BLAH, is coming up.
The first one drew a standing-room only crowd at Perth’s Table Community Food Centre as the public was eager to hear what stakeholders had to say on the matter.
The waiting list for county subsidized housing has eclipsed 700, reaffirming the crisis the region is in, says The Table’s Social Justice and Advocacy Coordinator Stephanie Corrin.
The second meeting is set for April 3rd at The Table in Perth from 6:30 to 8pm, and the topic on hand will be co-op housing.
