Father’s of children aged from newborn to 6 years-old are being sought by ConnectWell community services for a focus group taking place tomorrow in Carleton Place.
ConnectWell’s Jeff Kohl tells us they thought it was time that dad got more attention.
Kohl says there’s plenty of support for young mothers out there, and through talks with men they’ve discovered there’s a need for them to be included.
ConnectWell plans to ask those in attendance what they’d like to see as far as parenting programs geared specifically towards fathers of young children and first-time dads.
