A Smiths Falls man has been charged after threatening his former partner.
Smiths Falls Police report that on the afternoon of the 13th, just after 12:30, they got the call from the victim saying her ex had threatened her.
Police investigated, and found the suspect had driven past the woman’s home and thretened to kill her.
He was found a short time later, was arrested, and charged with Uttering a Threat related to Intimate Partner Violence.
He was released and has a date with a judge in the near future.
