April is Parkinson’s Awareness month in Canada, and Pat Evans, a local Parkinson’s advocate is holding a fundraiser to help local patients cope with the disease.
Evans tells Lake 88 case numbers in Canada are shocking.
She adds that local numbers are worrying too.
Pat is hosting Tulip Pots for Parkinson’s tomorrow from 10am to 2pm at Barnabe’s Independent in Perth, and Andress’ Independent in Smiths Falls. You can buy a pot of tulips for just $10, and support local services for people living with the disease in Lanark and North-Leeds.
