It’s tick season once again, or to be more accurate, tick season is heating up, because as we hear from our Medical Officer of Health Dr. Linna Li, it’s always tick season.
Now that temperatures are getting warmer we’re reminded to take precautions to prevent tick bites. Make sure you’re covered up when out in nature settings, or even your own backyard, and make sure you give yourself a thorough check once you go inside.
Senior Health Inspector Kim McCann tells us that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the Spring.
Ticks can carry Lyme disease, so you have to make sure you’re tick smart.
