The Town of Smiths Falls reported some public feedback they received regarding its proposed strategic plan.
Over 30 participants took the online survey while it was up on their website, which CAO Malcom Morris said is a good participation number for items like this.
The findings show these residents have varying, but not entirely different views of council’s vision.
Waterfront development was ranked third out of six by the town in their key strategic priorities list, below transportation and housing, and above infrastructure renewal, new business attraction and parks and trails.
In a session featuring stakeholders in the business and social sectors, Morris says they outlined their ideas for council to work on.
