The Carleton Place Fire Department is asking residents in town to please not burn brush.
The Town of Carleton Place only allows for small campfires following the open-air burning bylaw.
If you have had trees, come down as a result of the storm please make arrangement to get them to the compost yard. You’re asked to go to the town’s website for directions on how to do that, at carletonplace.ca. We’ve got a link on our website.
Anyone outside Carleton Place with brush and branches to get rid of should contact your town hall.
