KDH Auxiliary donates $60K to hospital to mark volunteer week

The Kemptville District Hospital (KDH) Auxiliary has donated $60,000 to the Hospital, ahead of National Volunteer Week, which runs next week.

The donation will be used to purchase three patient beds, a mobile nursing station, and a cardiac monitor for the inpatient medical unit and recovery room.

The KDH Auxiliary achieved the feat despite facing challenges due to COVID-19, including the cancellation of their annual fundraising event Hey Day for three consecutive years and the temporary closure of their Café and Gift Shop at KDH in 2020.
