Residents of Perth take note: If you see some local fire hydrants spraying out water, don’t worry. It’s just Environmental Services staff conducting Spring flushing.
They’ll be doing it from April 24th through the 28th.
They tell us that fluctuations in water colour and pressure are possible but will be temporary.
You should flush coloured water by turning on a cold water tap, until the water flows clear.
