Smiths Falls Police have laid weapons and drug charges after checking on a parked vehicle at a Lombard Street business last Thursday.
The vehicle in question was tied to an investigation by another police service. They checked it out and arrested a 34 year old Smiths Falls man in connection to that other case. He was also charged for breaching his release conditions.
Also in the vehicle was 45-year-old Chrystel Kennedy, a Jasper resident who allegedly obstructed the investigation and was arrested. An ensuing search found drug-related items and two firearms in her possession.
She now faces numerous firearms and drug related charges and will face a judge too in the near future.
