You’ll have to wait a little longer to hit that walkoff home run you’re thinking about.
The baseball diamonds in Lanark aren’t ready to go quite yet, with the heavy rain making the fields less than ideal for playing on.
Lanark Highlands say both the Clyde Memorial Ball Diamond or Vincent Hall Ball Diamond are closed, and their staff is working diligently to get the fields ready in play condition.
The aim is to work on them throughout the week so they’re good to go for Monday (May 15).
