Carleton Place residents had a chance to weigh in on amendments to the town’s official plan at a recent special meeting.
While the majority of resident speakers had concerns with increased density as the town works to serve its population projection of 21,000 by 2038, at least one appreciated the proposed increase in mixed-use developments.
Erin Niballa says it would support more multi-service neighbourhoods, making a car optional for many.
More meetings on the amendments are planned.
