Lanark County has rescinded its COVID-19 vaccination policy for staff.
The county implemented a mandatory policy in September 2021 at a time where many governments and workplaces were doing so, before tweaking it slightly in May and voting last week to rescind it.
Human Resources Manager Sam Leroux said the policy did what its supposed to.
Leroux says they’ll still encourage staff to be vaccinated.
