The Town of Smiths Falls is seeking its 2022 Citizen of the Year.
In partnership with Legion Branch 95, the Dr. T.O. Ashwell Memorial Award is given to an individual or couple who has demonstrated significant contribution to the town through service, involvement and dedication.
There’s a variety of eligibility criteria the person must meet to have a chance, some of which include being viewed as a role model, shows evidence of ongoing leadership, and promotes a positive image of the town.
Nominations close June 9th, with the ceremony at the Smiths Falls Legion June 21st.
