There’s a few ongoing construction projects you may encounter this week around Carleton Place.
At the Carleton Place Arena Parking Lot (75 Neelin Street), Cavanagh’s will be adjusting the iron structures.
Work resumes at the Joseph Street Pumping Station in preparation for the construction of the new building, the generator pad, and the gas meter pad.
On Bridge Street, Louis Bray’s staff are continuing to prepare the bases for the raised planters.
Work on Barclay Street & Barker Street shifts to driveway and landscaping repairs possibly caused by construction damage- once paving has been completed.
Cavanagh’s staff will be adjusting iron structures on Ferrill Crescent & Mailey Drive, and continuing excavation activities on Campbell Street, then replacing granular materials.
Cavanagh Construction will begin construction next week on Carmel Street from Lake Avenue East to Munro Street. Improvements include the installation of a stormwater catch basin and full road reconstruction including new granular base, new concrete curbs, sidewalk, and asphalt.
Cavanagh Construction will also be starting excavation activities on Munro Street from Park Avenue to Carmel Street in preparation for full road reconstruction.
