High school students still have time to apply for the Community First Scholarship from My Broadcasting Corporation, worth $2,500 towards post-secondary education.
Local students can apply by filling in an application on our website, and by submitting a 1-2 minute long voice recording telling us “What community means to you.”
Lake 88 Operations Manager Bob Perreault says that audio will tell us a lot.
Last year saw Leeds-Grenville’s Roma Walker take home a scholarship.
The deadline for submissions is Saturday, June 3rd at 7pm.
