June is Pride Month.
Mississippi Mills Mayor Christa Lowry says following last month’s International Day Against Homophobia the Town established a 2SLGTBQIA+ page on the Mississippi Mills website.
The page is live, and contains a special survey.
The mayor says the Town wants to know more about the various self-definitions within the umbrella, and how the term “Pride” is viewed by each.
Lowry says the comments received will be coalated on an affirmative summary banner, to be unveiled at the June 20th Municipal Meeting.
