It draws thousands of people to Smiths Falls, and it’s this weekend. The Spirit of the Drum Pow Wow takes place on Duck Island and is presented by 10 different First Nations Groups.

The students at the school help organize the Pow Wow every year.
The day features Indigenous-owned and led food and craft vendors, educational displays of student projects and four free workshops for the public.
