Fire bans across our listening area are being lifted.
This comes as cooler and damp weather has swept the region after a long stretch of dry and hot weather led to forest fires across Ontario and Quebec.
The town of Perth has lifted theirs, as has Drummond/North Elmsley and Tay Valley Township.
Meanwhile, Carleton Place, Lanark Highlands, Rideau Lakes, and Beckwith all currently have has their total burn ban in place.
