Perth and District Collegiate Institute recently held its annual athletic assembly, a special occasion to honor passion, excellence, commitment, dedication, and resilience in sports.
At the school’s awards banquet, organized by teachers Kevin Bellamy and Sarah Cordick, retiring coaches were acknowledged, and students received awards for their outstanding contributions and leadership in sports at PDCI.
This year’s honourees include:
Gary Mahon Memorial: Eric Duncan, Audrey Thompson.
Junior Athlete of the Year: Male — Owen Gibson; Female — Marissa Dezan.
Stephen Roberts Memorial: Liam Cunniffe, Clara Misener, Bryn Goebel.
Jennifer Lawton Memorial: Mackenzie Boychuk, Olivia Walker, Jessie Kellar-Hannah.
Dick Salt Memorial Award: Jackson Adam, Nicholas Patterson
OFSAA School Sports Awards: Alyssa Patterson, Gracyn Patterson.
Coaches Award, Male Athlete of the Year: Sam Bourque.
Coaches Award, Female Athlete of the Year: Reegan Bell.
