The Almonte General Hospital’s emergency department has closed as of 3 p.m. today, July 7th, and will re-open at 7 a.m. tomorrow, July 8th, due to a shortage of nursing staff.
The rest of the hospital remains open for patients.
Carleton Place’s emergency department closed twice this week overnight due to a staffing shortage and multiple sick leaves.
