The Allied Boards of the Mississippi River Health Alliance recently concluded their Annual General Meetings, where they received comprehensive reports on the functioning of CPDMH and AGH throughout the previous year.
During the year, both hospitals collectively provided an impressive 19,922 days of inpatient care, and successfully carried out 2,410 procedures in their operating rooms. Additionally, the Emergency Departments witnessed a substantial influx of 33,338 visitors seeking medical assistance.
President and CEO Mary Wilson Trider addressed the attendees, acknowledging the challenges faced by the hospitals. She highlighted the roller coaster of navigating through evolving guidelines, grappling with staffing shortages, and, notably, the difficult decision to temporarily close the Emergency Departments in recent months.
These meetings provided a platform for the Mississippi River Health Alliance to reflect on the past year’s accomplishments, discuss areas of improvement, and strategize for the future. Despite the obstacles faced, the commitment and dedication of the staff at CPDMH and AGH remained steadfast, ensuring quality healthcare services for the community.
