Smiths Falls has launched a pet-friendly initiative aimed to establish a haven for pets and humans alike in the town.
The Pet-Friendly Smiths Falls Project is focused on accommodating four legged friends and their owners.
That means businesses having the opportunity to put a distinct pet friendly Smiths Falls decal on their storefront, indicating they welcome pets with open arms.
This is on top of previously installed receptacles the town installed downtown for pet owners to obtain and deposit doggie bags.
