The aging tower in Smiths Falls is due to be replaced
Volunteers have already started preparing for Smiths Falls Old Home Week 2025.
Held every quarter of a century, the weeklong festivities hold a special place in the town’s character, explains task force co-chair Christa Dales Donnelly.
The task force has been hard at work in its first months since forming. They’ve selected a board and brought on members with past experience at putting on large scale events, as well as several others with expertise in varying topics.
They seek short and long-term support from council in helping develop the week, and were told they’d get exactly that.
