Plum Hollow Folk is a new folk school at Blythewold Wild Heritage Centre in Delta.
Folks schools are common in Danish traditions, and teach skills like knitting, art, writing and more.
Laura Redman has Danish roots and wanted to bring part of her heritage here, and says folk schools offer a sense of community.
Plum Hollow Folk is offering pay what you can workshops in August.
These classes take less than three hours and include topics like photography, songwriting, an introduction to herbal remedies and more.
