A new art gallery called Carleton Place Gallery is opening at 210 Bridge Street in the downtown area.
They’ll show art made by local artists and have different types of art like paintings and sculptures.
The opening event is on August 24th, with dignataries in attendance.
The gallery wants to help artists from the community and also plans to offer a space for art projects. They’ll also have a special shop with art products that help Indigenous youth.
