Volunteer recruitment remains challenging for organizations, says executive director

Jennifer Miller says a major challenge to overcome is volunteer and staff retention and recruitment.

The Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Lanark County executive director says it’s been tough throughout the charitable sector, and they hope to recreate the longstanding organization as they celebrate their 50th year.

Perth council recently voted to declare Sept 18th as Big Brother Big Sister Day.
