Sunday is community day in Appleton.
The Mississippi Mills hamlet is hosting a community potluck picnic August 27th from 5 to 7PM.
The function is being held at Lubber Soccer Field, next to the museum on River Road.
Dinner is at 5:30; bring a dish to share, or bring your own picnic.
The event is rain or shine and there will be tents, tables, and an electrical hook-up.
Bring your own lawn chairs, bug repellent, beverages, dishes and utensils.
The Museum will be open for the occasion.
