Rideau Lakes has strong summer for local businesses

Summer has been good to Rideau Lakes.

Mayor Arie Hoogenboom says tourism based businesses have had a good season.

Rideau Lakes, and our other municipalities known for their excellent seasonal tourism relied largely on local and close Canadian tourism during the pandemic.

Hoogenboom says he has seen more Americans make the return to their cottages and traditional campgrounds in Rideau Lakes this year.
