As people across the county struggle with home ownership, Lanark County has announced that it’s Home Ownership Program has updated its eligibility rates.
The program provides down payment help of up to 8% for qualifying moderate-income households who are currently renting.
Applicants must be 18 years or older, currently renting a home in Lanark County, with a combined household income below $114,900. You also need to secure pre-approval for mortgage financing for a home priced less that $468,243 in the county.
