Table Extension: New Food Hub in Smiths Falls is Coming Along Nicely

The Table Community Food Centre’s expansion into Smiths Falls is coming along.

Executive Director Ramsey Hart says the evidence that they’re filling a gap in the community by setting up another food bank and resource centre is by looking at how well-attended their free weekly lunches at Hanley Hall are.

They plan to open up their spot at 41 Chambers Street by the new year, with renovations being done this fall.
