As we reported last week, the decision is out of the hands of Perth council as Caivan Communities has filed an appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal in hopes their 940 home subdivision moves forward.
It’s been a hot button discussion for months in the town, and last month Perth’s town planner Joanna Bowes highlighted one of the major sticking points among councilors and residents: the lack of a second bridge to get in and out.
Tribunal hearing dates have yet to be announced.
